The City of Payson puts on this fun triathlon with a very challenging hill and technical bike ride. They give out a very nice finishers medal which is desrved after doing that hill twice.

Scofield Triathlon

This triathlon is a great event, well run and put together by BBSC Endurance Sports. The triathlon takes place at nearly 8,000 feet. Half way through the swim I thought I had gained weight because it felt like my wetsuit was too tight and I couldn't breathe. Then I remembered the high elevation at which I was swimming. Who ever designed the finisher medals did a great job. I was glad I went out of my way to do this race. This event is a well deserved part of the Best of the U.S. Series.

JCC Scottsdale Firecracker Triathlon

The Jewish Community Center in Scottsdale opens their center very early on a holiday to give athletes a chance to celebrate the 4th of July competing in this triathlon put on by Tri Family Racing who did a great job as always.
